This boat is offered at a very low price of 45,000$ because she has not been used for some years (owner deceased) and was recently vandalized. (The latter was mainly a psychological blow as the actual cost of materials taken was less than 3,000$.) The owner spared no expense in fitting her out and spent over 300,000$ on her. Amongst other items, she is equipped with Hood roller furling on foresail, staysail and mainsail; all in good working condition. She has a Hood manufactured mast and boom and all furling equipment comes with dedicated turning blocks and winches (the latter are heavy duty self tailing in excellent condition). Heavy duty self-tailing winches and well built bow roller and anchor windlass. She has an almost new Kubota V3300 diesel. However, due to a mechanic's failure to identify a manual anti-syphon valve, engine filled with salt water, said mechanic did not flush the engine in time to prevent damage. Her deck is 3/4 " teak, she has a Hydrovane self steering unit. The interior is unfinished but has solid mahogany and cedar, there is good airflow. This preliminary ad gives an overview of a really solid and dependable ocean sailing yacht and she is a terrific buy for the right (serious) cruiser.
Included with the price of the yacht is a working Honda generator, a serviceable inflatable and a 10 hp outboard motor in good condition.
